- Write down your revised answer, ensuring your revised answer incorporates all the following concepts: A) Occam's Razor. B) Teachers can usually tell which students study and which do not. Example: A teacher gives two students a vocabulary homework assignment to be done without copying a dictionary. One student completes it with concise answers. The other completes it with drawn-out answers that equate to about two to three long sentences per word. The "tell" of the student who did not study the material are the long answers. This is because the non-studying student hopes that somewhere in the sentences will be the definition of the words. S/He is unsure of the answer so s/he rambles. This is a basic ability most teachers have so to understand which students studied. C) Retired NASA Astronaut and Colonel Chris Hadfield said, "Study everything about the spaceship and boil it down to one piece of paper. You must solve your problems in one breath." D) Einstein is credited with saying, "If you cannot explain something simply, you do not fully understand it."
